I remember my whole birth story from the first contraction to the first time I laid eyes on my baby…exhausted yet filled with elation. At least I thought I did. Until my husband retold my birth story at a dinner with friends and included a whole heap of unfamiliar details. Details that
I seemed to have forgotten.
Through birth we draw inwards blocking out all that’s happening around us so our bodies can do amazing things meaning special moments are often go unnoticed or forgotten.
This is the process of Breaking down as a maiden to rebuild as a mother.

No matter how you choose to birth for most it is a pivotal point in your life with the ability to change and define who you are and how you view the world. It's a sacred journey that every mother travels. You don’t want your birth experience to be something that just happens to you. You want to walk into your birth space feeling empowered, informed, and supported.
Every birth is unique and different and no matter how it happens every
experience matters. By adding on doula services I can support you through this process, and ensure you are fully informed, cared for, held, and honoured throughout your birth and postpartum journey.
I will be your space holder, battle-fighter, and friend, so that you can focus solely on the joy of becoming a mother.
Are you having a home birth?
A home birth complements your desire for body
autonomy. You’ve probably done your research on the reduction in interventions at home births, and to wholly immerse yourself in the birth experience and outcome.
I understand that a lot of careful care and
consideration has gone into this choice and that it’s also a big investment for yourself and your partner. Should this be you, I’d like to offer you a special rate for your home birth photography needs.

My packages are as unique as your journey, so you have the option of either combining photography and doula services, or booking them separately.
